Joblignify (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Joblignify website and AI resume optimization service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. All transactions are processed in United States Dollars (USD).

2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We do not store your Google password.
2.2 Resume and Job Description Data
When you use our service, you upload your resume and paste job descriptions. This data is processed by our AI pipeline to generate optimized resumes, match analyses, and cover letters. Your uploaded resume text and job descriptions are stored in our database to enable resume history and re-optimization features.
2.3 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full billing details. We retain only your Stripe customer ID for subscription management. All payments are processed in USD.
2.4 Usage Data
We collect standard web analytics data including pages visited, features used, timestamps, browser type, and device information.

5. Data Retention
Your account data and resume history are retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual resumes at any time from your dashboard. We use soft deletes — deleted data is marked as inactive and excluded from queries but may be retained in database backups for up to 30 days. 6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted database connections, bcrypt password hashing, and JWT-based session management. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your resume history from the dashboard. To request account deletion or data export, contact us at the email below.
